One of the rarest and most special potions in the world is the wine squeezed from the Old Vine’s grapes. When the wine is ready, it is bottled into special 2.5 dcl bottles that are specially made for the Old Vine Winery by famous artist Oskar Kogoj. The spiral that runs down the bottle’s long neck represents the infinite longevity of the Old Vine.

The Old Vine has survived many ordeals. It has maintained its vitality during both world wars, medieval fires, and even the vine louse did not harm it. Aside from its own persistence, favourable natural conditions helped it along the way – a sunny location and its proximity to water.
